A message from the Sauk Prairie United Way President:
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Your Sauk Prairie United Way has set a 2011- 2012 campaign goal of $65,000 to fund local agencies that most benefit our community. Your generous donation helps these agencies make the greatest positive difference right here in the Sauk Prairie area. We ask for your support to keep our community healthy. Together we can make a difference one person at a time. All agencies and organizations requesting funds from the Sauk Prairie United Way are tax-exempt and all funds stay in the Sauk Prairie area. The needs of each agency and a brief description of their services are listed below. Your United Way board members are volunteers who server without compensation. Operating expenses are nominal, less than 4% of the budget. Agencies have been interviewed and carefully selected for funding based on the services they provide to the Sauk Prairie area directly. Each fits into one or more of the following categories: Valuing Children, Nurturing Independence, Strengthening Families and Building a Strong Community. No contribution is “too small.” Your contribution is tax-deductible and will be greatly appreciated by the children and adults who benefit from these programs. The way America cares is The United Way…it’s the way Sauk Prairie cares. Please help us strengthen our community. Thank you for your generosity.
